At Coshla Quarries Ltd, high quality, expert knowledge and customer satisfaction are guaranteed. Over their years in business, this 70-acre limestone quarry has garnered an outstanding reputation through their stellar work on commercial, educational and individual projects.
Heavily involved in the construction of major roads since day one, Coshla Quarries Ltd have worked on large scale projects such as the N6 Galway-Dublin dual carriageway in 2007 and the M17/M18 Gort-Tuam motorway in 2015. The quarry has also supplied materials to key health projects in Galway, including University College Hospital – where BAM was the main contractor – and more recently to Medtronic and Boston Scientific in Parkmore, Galway. Involved in both commercial and educational projects, Coshla has experience in the construction of school campuses, such as Coláiste na Coiribe, Knocknacarra, Presentation College, Athenry, and Coláiste An Chlairín, Athenry. Recently they have been involved in the construction of the Garda HQ in Renmore and the Dean Hotel in Bohermore, Galway which is ongoing.
Under the direction of John Flaherty and John Morris, Coshla Quarries has consistently raised standards, maintained premium customer service and put an emphasis on excellence when generating specialist solutions for clients.

We have been using Coshla quarries for years now and we find their hands-on approach to be second to none. No matter what is asked of them they come up trumps every time – whether it’s advising on mix designs to out of hours delivery or deliveries at short notice. One of our latests requests was for a substantial quantity of red coloured concrete and even that was no problem. Right from the top down their attitude is fantastic and they are a pleasure to work with. Last but by no means least the price is right too – what more could you want from a supplier.
